WSA has better support for input in games and apps after installing the August update. After the new version is enabled, Android apps and games that rely on joysticks will have better support when mapped to WADSD on PC.
According to the release notes,MicrosoftSupport for in-game gamepad and aiming controls is also being improved. For example, you can now use the arrow keys to aim. Likewise, you can use the arrow keys to swipe in-game, a feature that didn’t perform well in previous versions.
In addition to improved game support, the WSA August 2022 Update also offers networking improvements. Users can associate VPN IP addresses with their Android apps, and they can also bypass government censorship or hide from online tracking by turning on “advanced web features.” This also gives you access to Netflix in different regions.
Additional improvements in the August 2022 WSA Update:
● By default, the minimum window size is 220dp.
● You can now use the toggle switch in theWindowsView and save diagnostic data in the subsystem.
● Security updates and fixes, including improvements to graphics.
