The news comes from the always-reliable WABetaInfo, who has been the source of several WhatsApp-related leaks, and it seems users on macOS are finally getting the app they want. Of course, the actual experience may be different from mature versions of other platforms, and there will be continuous changes in the future.
As you can see in the screenshot shared above, when you launch WhatsApp for macOS for the first time, you need to link the logged in WhatsApp by scanning the QR codecell phone, just scan this code generated by the app in the settings with your phone. Users can also link their Android devices, which means people don’t need to switch toiPhone, you can make WhatsApp for MacOS work.
Additionally, the source mentions how the company has improved the interface, making it easier to use WhatsApp on the Mac and native apps built with Mac Catalyst. Sadly, the app is still in development and it’s not possible to download it for now.
