● iPadOS 16 Beta 2(The following content is from Weibo user @Does Ye Kong know everything?)
iPadOS 16 Beta 2, a change is that it removes the function of adjusting the enlarged display of the external display (Figure 1, Figure 2 is a screenshot of Beta 1)
But I don’t know what the iPad is based on to automatically determine what scale the external display should use.
It’s not quite like the resolution, the U2417H is 1080p, but from the screenshots, the iPad is still stunned4Ksignal output
I guess it may be 4k for 24 inches and below, 5k for 24-32 inches, and 6k for 32 inches and above?
For the three zoom levels of the display, you can refer to my previous Weibo:OWeb links
However, at this zoom level of 4k resolution, the iPad’s program interface is still enlarged and quite unusable, and third-party applications may have to wait until the official version comes out in September before updating. However, even the iPad itself does not have the specifications of 4K resolution (refer to Figure 3 and Figure 4)
It seems to be set, put it on an external monitor to display, it seems that the enlargement of the text is not bad
