Due to its unique styling and limited quantities, the car sold out within 18 minutes of its launch. It is reported that the new car will be delivered in the second half of August, and only for the French market.

On June 21, potential buyers of the Citroen My Ami Buggy production car will be able to log on to the Citroen website to qualify for the car. According to Citroen, nearly 1,800 people have expressed interest in the model, but only 50 have had the opportunity to get it. This is usually the case with expensive limited-edition supercars, but this small electric car with crossover styling has also been popular with the public.

The biggest difference between this limited-edition model and the regular Ami is its off-road-oriented styling. The top of the car adopts a canvas roof that can be rolled back, which has the effect of opening a sunroof. Another major feature of the car is that it is not equipped with ordinary doors, but adopts the design of metal pipe doors, which enhances the open-air experience of the car. That’s not a bad thing for the car though, as the car doesn’t come with an onboardair conditioner. The limited-edition model features a khaki body livery with black plastic edging on the bumpers and wheel arches. As a limited-edition model, the car also added an exclusive nameplate above the vehicle’s center console to highlight its limited-edition status.

Although it looks very off-road in shape, the performance of the car is not off-road at all. The new car is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of only 6kW (8 horsepower) and a maximum speed of only 45km/h. With a 5.5 kWh battery, the maximum cruising range is only 70km.
