It is reported that,Google plans to completely remove this feature from AOSP in Android 14, which means that developers will no longer be able to call the feature.
For users, this means that the transfer of files will not be possible through the NFC function.
In fact, the Android Beam feature was abandoned by Google long ago.
Back in Android 10, Google stopped development of the Android Beam feature, but still left it in the system, allowing developers to continue to carry it.
At present, Google has launched the Nearby Share function that is also used to share files. But the problem is, the feature doesn’t work on devices that don’t use GMS (Google Mobile Services).
