Tesla China’s official website shows that the company currently has more than 35,000 superchargers worldwide, most of which are located in the United States and China.
As of August 30, 2022, Tesla China has built more than 1,200 super-charging stations in mainland China, providing nearly 9,000 super-charging piles for electric vehicle owners.
In addition to the Supercharger network, Tesla China has set up 32 destination charging stations in Shanghai. Tesla China’s official website shows that the company currently has more than 700 destination charging stations in mainland China, providing more than 1,800 charging piles.
Instead of relying on third-party charging networks like most other automakers, Tesla has developed its own charging network from scratch. Currently, the company’s Supercharger network, the most extensive fast-charging network for electric vehicles in the world, is one of its most important advantages.
As Tesla puts more and more electric vehicles on the road, the company is also rapidly expanding its Supercharger network to support its ecosystem.
It is reported that Tesla’s latest super charging station is the V3 super charging station. In August this year, Tesla added V3 charging stations in Shanghai, Tianjin, Yantai, Heze, Tengzhou, Luliang, Guangzhou, Foshan, and Zhaoqing.
