Respectively,The “Zixiao” for AI computing, the “Canghai” for video processing, and the “Xuanling” for high-performance networks.
It is reported that the most notable feature of the Zixiao AI reasoning chip is the combination of picture and video processing, natural language processing, search recommendation and other scenarios.
By using 2.5D packaging technology to seal the HBM2e memory and AI core, and adding computer vision CV accelerators and video codec accelerators inside the chip, the chip architecture is optimized and the bottleneck that restricts the use of chip computing power is broken.
According to Qiu Yuepeng, vice president of Tencent, COO of the cloud and smart industry business group and president of Tencent Cloud, Tencent’s AI inference chip Zixiao,The performance is improved by 100% compared with the industry, and the film has been successfully taped out and lighted smoothly;It supports the Canghai video transcoding chip that hardware encoder won in the World Encoding Competition, and the compression rate is increased by more than 30% compared with the industry.
At the same time, the intelligent network card chip Xuanling developed by Tencent has improved the performance of the industry’s products by 4 times.
It is understood that the Xuanling smart network card chip is positioned to accelerate the performance of the cloud host, and optimize the chip architecture in combination with scenarios such as CVM/BM/containers.The virtualization, network/storage IO and other functions that were originally running on the main CPU are moved down to the chip to achieve zero occupancy of the main CPU.
