recently,The century-old American car rental company Hertz Global (Hertz Global) announced that it has ordered 100,000 Teslas for car rental services. It is reported that this largest new energy vehicle order in history will bring about 4.2 billion US dollars in revenue (approximately 26.8 billion yuan) to Tesla. Subsequently, Tesla’s stock price rose accordingly. As of the close of trading on the 26th, Tesla closed at US$1018.43, and its market value exceeded US$1.02 trillion.
After the announcement, Tesla CEO Elon Musk “Versailles” said on Weibo:“The cars sold by Tesla to Hertz are not discounted, and the prices are the same as those purchased by other consumers.”
Implication,Even if you buy 100,000 Teslas in one go, a penny is not cheap.
Earlier, regarding Tesla’s market value reaching new highs, Musk said bluntly: “The strange thing is that Tesla’s valuation changes are largely a production ramp-up issue, not a demand issue.” In other words, special Sla has no worries about selling.
Early this morning, Tao Lin, Tesla’s vice president of external affairs, forwarded Musk’s Weibo saying:“Employees buy cars at the same price as customers. The FSD function can be activated for free.”
According to Tesla’s official website,Tesla China provides two optional autopilot packages, an enhanced version of Automated Assisted Driving (EAP) and Full Automated Driving Capability (FSD), which are priced at 32,000 and 64,000, respectively. The basic version of Autopilot (BAP) is free for all models.
Among them, fully automatic driving capabilities include: active cruise control, assisted steering, automatic assisted lane change, automatic assisted navigation driving, automatic parking, smart calling, recognizing and responding to traffic lights and stop signs, and assisted driving in urban streets.
Enhanced automatic driving assistance features include: active cruise control, assisted steering, automatic assisted lane change, automatic assisted navigation driving, automatic parking, and smart call.
As far as domestic consumers are concerned, FSD only recognizes traffic lights and stop signs and responds to them more than EAP, as well as assisted driving in urban streets. The price is twice as expensive, and the options are of little significance.
