Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares previously said the semiconductor shortage is expected to extend through the end of 2022 as the industry waits for more capacity to come online, a years-long process.
“Stellantis will continue to work closely with suppliers to mitigate the impact of the various supply chain issues facing the industry on manufacturing,” spokeswoman Ann Marie Fortunate said in a statement.
