Blue Origin sues NASA for awarding $2.9 billion manned moon landing contract to SpaceX
SpaceX’s direct spending on lobbying members this year was US$590,000. In the first half of this year, it also donated more than US$210,000 to the campaigns of congressional candidates.
Although SpaceX’s lobbying expenditure is higher than that of Blue Origin, Blue Origin is more active in court. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (hereinafter referred to as “NASA”) awarded SpaceX a $2.9 billion manned moon landing contract. In April this year, Blue Origin filed a complaint with the US National Audit Office, but it was rejected.
Blue Origin also sued NASA in August this year, but the US Federal Claims Court ruled that Blue Origin lost the case. NASA Director Bill Nelson (Bill Nelson) said on Tuesday local time that the manned moon landing will be postponed from 2024 to 2025, partly because of the Blue Origin prosecution.
After the Blue Origin lost the lawsuit, Musk immediately issued an emoticon pack madly sour Bezos lost the lawsuit.
