The Stainless Mesa is a miniaturized version of Solo Stove’s impressive set of large backyard stoves. These stoves rely on a well-designed hearth that draws air in through vents at the bottom, up through the walls, and out through the top of the fire, killing smoke particles as they burn.
These stoves now come in a range of sizes to suit different environments, from spacious backyards to small city courtyards, but Mesa is the smallest of them all. Measuring 5.1 inches (13 cm) wide and 6.8 inches (17.2 cm) high, it’s designed to be placed in the middle of a table or other space-constrained surface.
The Mesa is said to ignite in minutes, it can run on both conventional wood fuel and pellet fuel, and it includes a special pellet fuel adapter. To prevent it from burning the table top or the surface below, it also comes with a stand that folds up and fits inside the stove for easy portability. Weighing just 1.4 pounds (635 grams), the Mesa can also be a great option for hiking or camping for those who can’t or won’t lugging a heavier stove.
Clint Mickle of Solo Stove said: “The Mesa is easy to light and its small size fits in any outdoor space. Creating great moments has never been easier and we’re delighted to see clients new and old come together for this clever, low-smoke around the tabletop stove.”
Mesa stoves are available in color schemes like Deep Olive, Mulberry, Bone, Ash and Water, and are now availablelisted, priced at $80.
