Unlike Tesla,Rivian said that the production of its R1T and other new cars at the factory is very smooth and is expected to be officially delivered in March-April 2022.
According to the data, the pure electric SUV RS1 and pure electric pickup R1T made their global debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. The two models were born on the Rivian sliding platform.The power is equipped with four motors. The maximum output power of each motor is 200 horsepower, the combined maximum power is 800 horsepower, and the peak maximum torque is 14000 N·m.
It is worth mentioning that, as a strong competitor of Tesla Cybertruck, the four wheels of the pure electric pickup truck R1T can be independently driven, using the differential speed of the tires on both sides to turn in place.This way of turning is also called “tanka turn”.
In terms of battery life, R1T has three capacities of 105kWh, 135kWh and 180kWh, corresponding to 230+ miles (370+ kilometers), 300+ miles (482+ kilometers) and 400+ miles (644+ kilometers) respectively.
