Razer has updated its productivity mouse and keyboard kit to include the new Pro Click Mini wireless mouse, Pro Type Ultra wireless keyboard and Pro Glide XXL mouse pad. Among the new features of these peripherals, the keyboard contains sound-absorbing foam, the mouse contains a “silent mechanical” switch, and the battery life of both models has been improved.
As its name suggests, Pro Click Mini is a more compact version of Razer’s existing Pro Click wireless mouse, so it is easier to hide in a laptop bag. The price has dropped to $79 instead of the previous $99, but it also has its own changes: a dual-mode scroll wheel similar to the Basilisk V3, which can switch between a free-spinning scrolling mode and a more traditional damped scrolling. It is not rechargeable like the Pro Click (Mini uses AA batteries), but it provides up to 15 months of battery life. It can be connected via Bluetooth or via Razer’s 2.4GHz USB adapter.
The price of the Pro Type Ultra keyboard is US$159, while the existing Pro Type is US$139. This extra money allows you to get an attached leatherette wrist rest, which can be used in addition to wireless. But the most practical benefit is that its battery life is also extended. If you use the keyboard via Bluetooth without using the backlight, the battery life will reach 214 hours. If you use the 2.4GHz USB adapter, the battery life will reach 207 hours (previous work). 84 hours and 78 hours respectively). However, if the keyboard backlight is used, these numbers will drop sharply to only 13 hours. The key switch of this keyboard uses Razer’s own yellow axis.
Finally, there is Pro Glide XXL, a 94 cm/37-inch wide mouse pad designed for simultaneous placement of the mouse and keyboard. Its price is 29 dollars.
Razer’s Pro Click Mini mouse and Pro Glide XXL mouse pad are both available for purchase today, while the Pro Type Ultra keyboard will be launched before the end of the year.
