It is reported that NVIDIA is developing two new mobile GPUs for the notebook market, one of which is the recently rumored GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.Recently, netizens found a new GA104 chip in the PCI Device ID database.
According to netizen Faintsnow’s revelations, the technology media VideoCardz found a special ID on the PCI Device ID database-ID 24A0, which refers to NVIDIA’s unreleased mobile GPU-NVIDIA GN20-E6.
It is understood that GN20-E6 is the name of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti notebook GPU. Currently, NVIDIA notebook GPUs are not listed together with the rest of the NVIDIA Ampere series.
If this information is true, then Nvidia is considering manufacturing RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti GPUs for mobile devices (such as laptops and notebooks), which will provide more cores than non-Ti models.
It is speculated that the RTX 3080 Ti will use the newer graphics processor GA103, which has been shown to have up to 7680 CUDA cores. The mobile version of this special graphics processor is more likely to produce fewer CUDA cores than the desktop version. However, NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti may be higher than non-Ti models, which have up to 5120 CUDA cores, because the current leading NVIDIA SKU provides 6144 CUDA cores.
