On the PlayStation Blog, Naughty Dog said the partnership with Iron Galaxy Studios allows them to “envision the future of Naughty Dog games on PC more excited than ever”.
“Iron Galaxy provides a partner we can trust to deliver high-quality versions of these two Uncharted games, with whom we can work closely to better understand PC development, while maintaining an internal awareness of the current and future projects and bring them to PC as well.”
Naughty Dog went on to reiterate this, while adding that PC development won’t affect the studio’s focus on developing PlayStation games.
Naughty Dog said: “Learning all of these things through our partnership with Iron Galaxy Studios has only helped strengthen Naughty Dog’s understanding of PC development and will allow us to deliver the quality you expect in our future releases. We’re excited to Excited to release The Last of Us Part 1 for PC in the future, and we also know that in the future, adding PC development to the way we develop games is by no means diminishing the importance of PS5 as our primary platform in the long run. Seeing this will continue to benefit our team.”
