In the next step, we will continue to improve my country’s ability to enter space, update the active launch vehicles, and continue the new generation of manned launch vehicles and heavy-duty launch vehicles, so that the stage for China’s aerospace development will be bigger and better.
Wu Yansheng also talked about the major aerospace projects that will continue to be implemented:“We will carry out manned lunar exploration, the construction of lunar scientific research bases, the return of samples from Mars, and the implementation of asteroid exploration. Through these major projects, the Chinese people’s exploration of space will be more stable and farther.”
According to academician Jiang Jie, chief engineer of the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the development of my country’s new generation of manned launch vehicles is in the stage of key technology research and program deepening demonstration.
The development of a new generation of manned launch vehicles will enable my country to have the capability of manned landing on the moon by 2030.And lay the foundation for subsequent lunar scientific research and development, deep space exploration and space resource utilization.
At present, the fourth phase of my country’s lunar exploration project has been approved by the state and is progressing smoothly.
The fourth phase of the lunar exploration project includes the Chang’e 6, Chang’e 7 and Chang’e 8 missions, which will be implemented successively in the next ten years. Chang’e 7 is under development, and it will explore the south pole of the moon in the future, and will also establish the basic model of the international lunar scientific research station.
