AirPods 3 is finally here. As we all know, just last week Apple released three new products, namely MacBook with M1 Pro / Max chip
Pro, HomePod mini with a variety of colors, and the third-generation AirPods. Thanks to the fast speed of our company Ergou, we placed an order as soon as the new product officially started the pre-sale:
Now AirPods 3 still has 16 inchesMacBookWe have already got the two products of Pro, and today we will bring you the first experience of AirPods 3 first.
Compared to AirPods 2, the most obvious upgrade of AirPods 3 this time should be its appearance. To be honest, when I first saw AirPods 3, it gave me the feeling that the whole headset became fuller.

Although AirPods 3 has shortened the earphone handle, its cavity and sound holes have become larger. If you ignore the difference in openings, the earphones come off the AirPods Pro after removing the earplugs.

However, thanks to the very coordinated control of its various parts, from the appearance of the headset, Tony feels that AirPods 3 is the best looking one of the three AirPods.
The long earphone handle of AirPods 2 will inevitably give people the feeling of heavy feet and head light; the existence of AirPods Pro in-ear earplugs destroys its integrity; the AirPods 3 in between is just right~
The charging case of AirPods 3 is also flat like the charging case of AirPods Pro, but if you put them together and compare them carefully, you will find that the charging case of the former is slightly narrower but thicker than the latter.

This is because the charging case of AirPods 3 supports MagSafe wireless charging.
If you have already bought the 329 MagSafe charger from the official website, AirPods 3 will stick to it directly after you put it on.
It’s just that its suction is really weak, and you can detach the AirPods 3 from the charger with a slight lift.
AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro are placed on MagSafe chargers, although they can also be charged wirelessly, but they lack the adsorption function. For this, I can only say that the charging case is better than nothing.
It is worth mentioning that the AirPods Pro currently on sale on the official website has also been equipped with a MagSafe charging box as standard.
Having finished talking about the appearance of the new headset, I took Tony to talk about its wearing comfort.
I don’t know if it’s because the AirPods Pro that I have always worn before, so that when I first put on AirPods 3, I always felt that the headphones were about to fall off my ears.
Later, it turned out that this was just my illusion. AirPods 3 was actually very stable on my ears, and it didn’t fall off no matter how I shake my head.
It’s just that because AirPods 3 is fixed by the pinna of the cavity, I think it is not as good as the AirPods 2 with a smaller cavity in terms of wearing comfort, and it is better than AirPods Pro. That’s for sure.
In addition, the operation of AirPods 3 is the same as AirPods Pro, which is realized by pressing to pause, switch and call out Siri.
In Tony’s opinion,AppleIt is definitely a correct decision to let AirPods 3 support pressing control. Before I hit the earphone every time I tapped on the earphones, sometimes there would be no response after tapping lightly, and pressing would not have these problems.
As for the sound quality. Although Tony doesn’t really want to admit that the sound quality of AirPods 3 this time has surpassed the more expensive AirPods Pro, but after several rounds of audition with my colleagues, we agreed that this is the case.
AirPods 3 has exceeded my expectations in both low-frequency dive and transient performance. The good performance is a bit surprising, but it is a pity that it does not support noise reduction, otherwise I would consider changing headphones!
In general, the AirPods 3 released by Apple this time is more like the SE version of AirPods Pro released two years ago.
In addition to the lack of active noise reduction, AirPods Pro’s other features such as adaptive equalization, spatial audio, and anti-sweat and water resistance are supported by AirPods 3. Its single battery life is even 1.5 hours longer than Pro.
If you have no need for the noise reduction function of headphones, then AirPods 3 is still quite worth considering.
However, considering that the price of AirPods 3 on Apple’s official website 1399 is more expensive than AirPods Pro sold through third-party channels, Tony recommends that you start with AirPods Pro.
When AirPods 3 drops below 1,000 in the future, you can really start with your eyes closed. Now AirPods 2 has dropped to more than 700 in third-party channels. I believe that day will definitely come.
Thank you for watching!
