A few days ago, we learned that Microsoft is developing a new Windows Defender Preview application. Some people have speculated that this new application may be a new version of Defender created specifically for Windows 11.However, this does not seem to be the case. Twitter leaker WalkingCat shared the Microsoft Store download link for Windows Defender Preview in his account two days ago.
From the store, we know that new apps are also available inWindowsRun on 10. But when we tried to move on from the original cover, we recovered a message saying “Your account has not been authorized to useMicrosoftGuards”, which prevents us from moving on.
However, a Twitter user Ahmed Walid (Ahmed Walid) was able to use technology to circumvent this restriction and released some screenshots of the user interface of the new Microsoft Guardian preview. It turns out that the application is still under development, there is still some work to be done, and more features such as “identity” and “connection” are marked as coming soon.
Below is what the main screen of the new Defender application looks like. After the development is roughly completed, the application may first begin to be launched to Insider users, and then generally available to the public.
