At the 2021 conference, Microsoft has officially confirmed the Linux version of Edge stable. The Edge stable version of the Linux distribution can now be downloaded from Microsoft’s stable download page.
To celebrate the release,MicrosoftIt also added a limited-time Linux-related Easter egg to the Surf game built by its Edge 97 development channel, which can be entered through the classic Konami cheat code.

However, this is not all the company’s progress in Edge, given that the IE browser will be retired next year, Microsoft is making it easier to transition to Microsoft Edge’s IE mode. Enterprises can now use cloud location to store website lists through cloud website list management, instead of configuring internal enterprise infrastructure. This means that administrators can easily use the Microsoft 365 management center to create and transfer browser compatibility policies, and will enable IT administrators to use group policies to configure different website lists for different device sets.
