There should be no 3nm process units in the 14th generation Core now, but Intel will still use the 3nm process as a foundry. After all, the external N3 process has been clarified in the previous roadmap. That is, TSMC 3nm foundry, the latest news that this 3nm GPU core display will be used for the 15th generation Core.
The 15th-generation Core, code-named Arrow Lake, is expected to come out in 2024. The CPU part uses a 20A process, which is the first Angstrom-level CPU process, supporting RibbonFET and PowerVia technologies, and achieving about a 15% increase in performance per watt.
As the time is still early, the specific specifications of Arrow Lake have not yet been confirmed, but MLD’s revelations said that its microkernel is Lion Cove, and the IPC performance has a double-digit improvement compared to Golden Cove, that is, more than 10%.
In addition, the socket used by Arrow Lake is also LGA2551, which is compatible with next year’s 14th-generation Core Meteor Lake.
