Intel driver introduces pixel pipeline optimization: 448 EU’s DG2 GPU SKU is confirmed
According to GitLab, Intel is optimizing the pixel pipeline, and the same page confirms the existence of the GPU SKU DG2-448 EU.As the product name of the Xe HPG gaming graphics card (Chinese name “Rui Xuan”), Intel will introduce the new ARC Alchemist product code-named DG2 to the desktop/notebook platform in the first quarter of 2022.

The latest news is that Alchemist GPU is being tested as part of the Mesa OpenGL and Vulkan driver update.
Intel developer Franciso Jerez claimed in the patch notes that the new driver can bring a 20-40% performance improvement to the DG2 graphics solution when dealing with specific workloads, but did not disclose the exact comparison reference.
As for the game, he also shared the test data of “Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor”, “Dota 2”, “CS: GO” and other works.
Even so, Intel has not officially confirmed that the DG2-448 EU model is part of the ARC GPU product line. But what is certain is that its performance will be between the known DG2-512 flagship and DG2-384 mid-range SKU.
