Nintendo has released a total of 6 GBA SP Pokemon Center versions, most of which are characters from the Pokemon game. Each now varies in rarity and price, and some versions may be harder to come across. As expected, they have been increasing in price since their release. At present, official channels are no longer sold, only third-party sources, so the price is very high.
● Kyogre and Groudon
The first Pokemon Center GBA SP release was the Kyogre and Groudon release in 2003. These versions were released alongside the game Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire at the Pokemon Center in New York.
● Torchic
Next up is the Torchic Edition, the orange GBA SP, only available at the New York Pokemon Center. According to PriceCharting, it’s currently priced at $200 standalone, or about $438 complete with the box.
● Charizard and Venusaur
Both versions are only available through the Pokemon Center in Japan, and are released alongside the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen games.
● Rayquaza
Then there’s the Rayquaza GBA SP, which was released at Pokemon Centers in Japan when the Pokémon Emerald game was released in 2004. These are priced around $363 individually, or $800 with the case.
● Pikachu
Finally, there’s the Pikachu GBA SP, available as a limited-edition item at U.S. Toys”R”Us. Listed at $143, it’s now on sale for around $620.
for the pursuitbeautifulCollectors who prefer Kyogre and Groudon versions, which include the Pokemon Center GBA SP, suitcase, and the corresponding Pokemon game for each character. The condition of these handhelds and any items that come with them, such as boxes, manuals, etc., will affect the price of the item. Items in good condition, boxed and sealed are much more expensive than those listed here.
