Today, HMD announced that the Nokia X20 can now test Android 13. HMD says this is a developer preview, not a beta, so many details need further polishing.
In addition, HMD also said that when Nokia X20 users try Android 13, they need to erase all data, so be sure to make backups. There’s also the usual disclaimer that this build may exhibit performance and/or stability issues, so of course do it at your own risk.
If you really want to take the plunge, all you need to do is go into the Nokia X20’s My Devices app, tap the support banner at the bottom, and scroll down to Android Developer Preview. Then do a quick IMEI check and you’re good to go. The new version will arrive as an over-the-air update within 12 hours of your registration.
