If you’re on the Edge Canary channel version, you can already access the new utilities from the sidebar. In Edge Canary 105, it provides a world clock, calculator, dictionary, translator, unit converter and internet speed test.
The introduction of these gadgets also caused dissatisfaction among some users, who felt that it made Edge even more bloated. Having popular tools at the native level, though, will prevent less tech-savvy users from downloading inappropriate third-party extensions.
