Debian 11.5 also introduces updated NVIDIA driver packages to provide security fixes, addresses some issues in various packages, updated GRUB bootloader builds, updated timezone data, and various other fixes.

The security bulletin has been published separately and referenced where available. Note that this version does not constitute a new version of Debian 11, but only updates some of its packages. There is no need to discard old “Bullseye” installation media. Once installed, packages can be upgraded to the current version via the latest Debian mirror.
Those who regularly install updates from security.debian.org won’t have many packages to update, and most such updates are included in this point release.
