Both 480Hz high-brush panels are claimed to have around 1-ms response time, full HD resolution, and TN technology, whether it’s a 24-inch desktop/16-inch notebook display.

Although more and more manufacturers are beginning to provide high refresh rate monitors based on IPS / VA panels, the status of TN panels in the field of high-brush gaming screens is still difficult to shake.
AUO has not disclosed when the first display products with the new 480Hz high-brush panels will be available, but TFT Central reports that production should begin in 2022.
A few years ago, Blurbusters tested a prototype 480Hz monitor. It can be seen that even if the marginal benefit is narrowing, it is still a significant improvement over 240Hz – even if the resolution is only 960×540.
For PC gamers, it is also important to consider that their graphics card configuration can drive such high frame rendering rates. Fortunately, extreme high refresh is mostly used for FPS competitive games (such as Valorant and CS:GO), and high-end PCs can usually achieve 500+ FPS at 1080p+ settings.
In addition, AUO also showed several AmLED panels, laptop displays with integrated cameras (which can resolve the punch hole/ugly notch).
Several automotive ultra-widescreens, and color ChLC tablet panels that utilize ambient light (instead of backlighting), among others.
