Next is the Pathfinder IEM, released by Astell & Kern in partnership with premium handcrafted headphone manufacturer Campfire Audio, an in-ear monitor that features the first dual-chamber driver technology.
In addition, the headset combines a dual-diaphragm balanced armature / custom dynamic driver unit, the former claims to be able to reproduce the mid frequency naturally, supplemented by a smoother extended high frequency performance.
The headset also introduces radial ventilation technology for the first time, wrapping 10mm dynamic drivers in a 3D-printed sound chamber, and venting through each front opening to ensure strong bass and mids for a wider soundstage for listeners .
The Pathfinder IEM comes with three different cables, allowing users to freely connect to any balanced/unbalanced audio jack on the Kann Max, and comes with ear tips of various sizes.
Finally, the Pathfinder IEM will be available in mid-July for $1,900 (12,899 RMB).
