Last month, an Apple employee was fired by the company. why? Because she organized her colleagues to accuse the company of harassment and discrimination. The fired employee was very dissatisfied, so he filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Former Apple project manager Janneke Parrish believed that Apple fired her to prevent her from organizing a struggle with her colleagues.
Parrish said in an interview last month,AppleNotify her that she has been fired because Parrish deleted files from her work device during an internal investigation. Parrish was under investigation because she was suspected of leaking information about the plenary meeting to the media, but Parrish denied the leak.
In an interview with Parrish at the time, Apple responded that the company did not discuss specific employee matters. Apple will strive to create and maintain a positive and inclusive workplace, and will take all employees’ concerns seriously.
The NLRB will investigate the allegations it receives and sue the employer if it considers the case worthwhile.
