Apple’s iOS 16 preview webpage suggests that the iPad won’t be able to be used as a home hub, but that hasn’t been confirmed until now, as the iPad can still be set up as a home hub in the first iPadOS 16 beta. “Only Apple TV and HomePod are supported as home hubs,” the site reads.
