The Lanzhou EMU workshop of Lanzhou Depot is responsible for the maintenance, operation and maintenance of 16 groups of “Hulk” power centralized EMUs. In recent years, with Lanzhou Bureau Group’s vigorous promotion of technological innovation and infrastructure upgrades, the first fully automatic scrubbing warehouse built in 2021 was officially put into use. The newly built scrubbing warehouse has a total length of 36 meters and a width of 6 meters. It is equipped with a mechanical scrubbing system, a spraying system, a control system, a water supply system, a water circulation system, a positioning detection system, a speed measurement system, and a monitoring system. The distance between the brushes of each group of scrubbing arms and the outer skin of the cleaning train can be flexibly adjusted, and a set of automatic cleaning equipment can automatically complete the cleaning and drying of the sides of the body, the side top arc surfaces and the side lower skirts.
“Before the establishment of the scrubbing warehouse, a group of trains needed 6-7 people to clean for 1 hour, which took a long time and consumed a lot of water. Now, the cleaning is fully automatic, and only one person can complete all the cleaning work, and a group of trains only need 10 minutes. , which greatly improves the efficiency of scrubbing operations and reduces labor intensity.” said Wang Baoliang, deputy director of the dynamic assembly workshop in Lanzhou Depot.
It is understood that the entire washing depot of Lanzhou Depot needs to clean 7 groups of “Hulk” EMUs every day, and at the same time, it also takes into account the washing of about 8 groups of ordinary speed passenger cars. Since it was put into use, more than 2,500 motor coaches have been cleaned, providing high-quality services and guarantees for passengers to travel comfortably.
